Oh look, more pink! o_O;;

This began as a pen doodle in my sketchbook about a month ago, which I liked and therefor continued. Everything but the lines for the hallway itself was freehanded--no pencil.

Somehow, it also became an exercise in perspective and hatching... >.>; (I basically decided it needed a background, and then I decided it needed some shading. Ow, my hand. XD)

Overall, I'd say I spent about five hours just on this drawing. Plenty of errors, but I still like it.

I'm working on a green one now. >.>;

:giggle: I actually started this one during a break in my Drawing III class, last spring semester. I think it was the first or second day, and everyone was bored silly because we didn't start getting models that first week or two.

Thank you! I want her hair too... XD

Drawing classes are definitely awesome. I ran out of them at the college. I'll have to go into painting.

The hatching actually looks REALLY nice on this piece. Overall hatching seems to look nice when it's NOT done in black.

I especially love the detail in her hair.

Everyone always comments on the hair in my drawings--I dunno what to say. :XD:

Thanks for the comments (and compliments). I've never done hatching on this scale before, and I like the overall effect. I'm about halfway through the green one and it's proving to be even more interesting to draw than this one, although it was more structured and planned out.

I also agree, hatching in color looks a lot better than straight black. :)

I like this pic. I like the whole dreamy feel it has with the normal person/artist amidst the imaginary background setting. I dunno, I just think its got a good theme to it...

Haha, you weren't kidding about the hatching on this! @_@ I really like it! It looks especially nice on the girl's clothes, as well as the darker shadows on the walls in the back. The shadows look very well done...they do a nice job of illustrating the kind/amount of light that would be projected from the torch on the wall.

The girl's clothes look nice...As usual you did a great job of making the fabric look realistic and having the clothes in general fit her well. And of course the hair is wonderful! XD Her lips caught my attention...I can't remember you doing full lips like that on many of your other pics, and I think they came out nicely.

Her hand holding the pen(cil?) looks good, though, to me at least, it seems like a bit of an odd way for her to be holding a pen to her lip. And then the tapestry on the right wall of the corridor seems to disrupt the perspective on that side, making that wall seem kinda crooked compared to the left side.

All in all this is really awesome, so I will once again :+fav:. ^_^
