Artist's Comments
Here's the painting I've been working on! The character is Kagura from Inu-Yasha (© Rumiko Takahashi), for those of you who aren't familiar with the manga/anime. The paints used were a mixture of watercolors and acrylics, and I used a black pen to do her outline.
To tell you the truth, I've never been a huge fan of Kagura, but I've had her in my head after reading a long discussion about her (and Sesshoumaru) on a forum I joined. She's beautiful, and I think that she makes a rather good subject for this painting. I need to do Inu-Yasha fanart more often!! Wish me luck, because I'm entering this in a fanart competition!  |
